Building a marketing blog takes…
….persistence, commitment, and focus. However, when it comes to learning how to promote your blog you probably feel more:
Are you scattering your energy into twenty different directions; and feeling, you guessed it, overloaded, overwhelmed, and distracted when it comes to learning how to promote your blog?
“We live in a world of perpetual distraction. We are never “caught up”, whatever that means. Multitasking, once valued as a productivity tool, now more often than not creates a sense of activity while actually decreasing output.
The unimportant and the trivial consume the time we should spend doing significant, meaningful work.” * M. Sanborn
Marketing Blog | Eight Core Steps
The things you can definitely spend your time on.
Can you do it? Yes
Take it step by step.
Step 1. This is the step to always do first when you sit down to work on your business. Publish an article or video on your blog every day; daily blogging is your number one job to promote your marketing blog.
Step 2. Market daily. Take 20% of your gross profit and reinvest it in your own marketing plan to promote your blog.
Step 3. Educate yourself daily. Go through trainings that teach you something new. When you can – take10% of your gross profit and spend it on education.
Step 4. Welcome new members. Refer them to the resources you are using.
Step 5. Join the Monday night Empower Hour training every Monday at 9:00pm EST. These are free conference calls that you can listen to – no matter what business you are building – I’ll sent you the link – Just Ask
Step 6. Learn to communicate as a leader by listening to audios daily. What audios? - the audios in the Inner Circle of Empower Network. Why? These audios teach you the principles that get results. A part time engineer has made over $100,000 in just three months using these principles.
Step 7. Read every day; read forums, blogs, emails, sales letters, and books.
Step 8. Attend events. Events connect you with the real people who have a lot of information to share.
Three reasons why the eight step recipe will work for your marketing blog.
• Your highest priority is done first (step 1) You will feel great knowing you have done the most important thing for your business. You have put new content on your marketing blog.
• Every day start at step 1, even if you did not finish all 8 steps the day before, you will be moving forward toward your goals. You will be going forward!
• You will be learning, growing and creating a leadership mindset.
