The usual advice to finding profitable business ideas is…
…to promote your passion!
What do you love to do?
Do what you love and you’ll discover your profitable niche.
The questions for most people are,
“What do I love to do that would create an income?
How do I go about setting it all up?”
There are lots of things people love to do. You may love playing a musical instrument, but have no desire to play for others and have them pay to listen to you. You may love one particular sport or many sports; and not have the desire to take it to a world class level. You may love spending time with children and reading stories to them, but how would this skill translate to a profitable niche market?
There may very well be ways to turn the above “loves” into profitable business ideas. However, before spending a lot of time creating content and promoting something you love to do, you must do some research and find out whether your idea will truly be profitable or not.
Keyword research is one of the keys to online success.
By doing the keyword research first, you will discover how to track, analyze, and make an educated decision about the niche market you are interested in building. The research involves studying keywords for your business idea and finding out about:
- The strength of your competition. Is there a way for you to get into the market?
- The amount of targeted traffic, meaning the number of people actually searching for what you have to offer.
- The profitability of your business idea. Is the market-place willing to spend money on what you have to offer and, if so, how much per day?
The answers to these questions can be determined by doing some research using the free and paid keyword research tools. Google Adwords is a free tool and is very helpful. Market Samurai is a paid tool that goes into a lot more depth.
Working with a supportive team is another key to online success.
